Popular Topics and How to Update Them

Within the chat window Popular Topics refer to prompts or helpful questions that are commonly asked by customers. By default, no popular topics are shown within the chatbot. However you can choose to have these appear within your chatbot;  customers can click one of the prompts to start a conversation with TAI. 

To set and update the popular topics or default prompts, login to the TAI admin panel and click on the Settings menu from the left navigation panel. You will be directed to the Chatbot Settings screen.


Scroll down to the Prompt section on the screen. You will see a list of prompts that are available for you. Do note that popular topics are instance specific, incase you have more than one instance available for your account, you would need to select an instance whose prompts you would like to view or update. This can be done by selecting a instance from the drop-down on the top navigation. Selecting an instance will cause the prompt section to be updated with the prompts of the selected instance. 


You can check to select the prompts that you want shown within the chatbot. Do note, that a maximum of 5 prompts can be selected. 


You also have the option to edit the text for any of the prompts, to do so, click on the Edit  icon available against a prompt. The corresponding text will be shown in the edit mode. Make the necessary changes are click on the Update button. Repeat the process till you have edited the text of all the required prompts.  In case you opt to have these prompts displayed, please test it out via the Try it Now screen to make sure that responses are available for the selected prompts.

The "Contact Me" prompt is a special prompt, when users click on this prompt within the chatbot, then a contact form is displayed wherein users can fill in their names, email addresses and phone numbers. These details are saved and will be available to you on the TAI Dashboard. In case you opt not to have the Contact Me as one of the default prompts, then within the Chatbot, the Contact Me would appear on the top header.
