When you
sign up for a merchant account, the business details that you provide are used
to setup your main business location on the Tellofy platform. By default, all
reviews would be collected for this main business.
On the
platform, business locations are also referred to as stores, events or entities.
In case you
have multiple branches/stores/events, it is recommended that you set each of
them up separately so that reviews can be collected and analyzed individually.
A unique survey URL can be defined for each location, which can then be shared
(via its link or QR code) with people to obtain feedback/reviews.
Managing
Your Locations/Events/Entities
Login to the platform and go to Build-> New Locations/Events/Entities menu. All business locations that are available for your account will be listed on the screen.
From this screen you can:
- Add a new location
- Edit a Location
- Delete a Location
- Manage Location
Adding a
new branch or location
To add a new location, click the + sign on the Add Entity box available on the screen. A popup to add details of the new store/location will be displayed.
The details on the form have been divided into three sections:
- General Details
- Manager Details
- Survey Details
General Details
This
section pertains to general information about your business location, store,
event or entity.
Under the general details section, you are required to fill-out the following information:
Logo: Click the icon on the top to upload a logo
for the store/location. From the popup that appears, click the “Choose A File”
button to browse and select an image from your computer's file system.
After selecting an image, you also have the option to crop it, if required. Click “Submit” to attach the image. The logo will be shown on the brand page and survey screen.
Domain: Enter the domain of your business website
here. For e.g.- greenviewnursery.com. This is an optional field.
Entity Name: Enter the name of the business location,
store, event, or entity in this textbox.
Website URL: Key in the website address for
your store. For e.g. - http://www.greenviewnursery.com. This is an optional field.
Tagline: Enter the tagline for your business, if any.
Category: Select the business category to
which your business belongs to from the provided list.
Business Phone Number: Specify the store phone number here
in this textbox.
Description: Enter any description for your
business if you want to.
Opening Hours: To specify the opening hours for your store,
first select the days of the week when the store is open by selecting the
checkboxes for the days of the week and then specify the opening and closing
time.
Country: Select the country where your store is
located.
Address Line 1: Specify the first line of address
for your store.
Address Line 2: Enter the second line of address,
if any.
City: Enter the name of the city where your store
is located.
State/County: Select the state/county where your
store is located.
Pin Code/ Zip Code: Enter the postcode in this textbox
for the address.
Chatbot Visibility: A AI driven chatbot is shown on your brand page. This option can be used to turn its visibility on/off. Keep the option checked for the chatbot to be visible. Un-check the option for the chatbot to be hidden from the brand page.
Manager Details:
The next section captures the details about the manager
who is appointed to manage this specific location, store, event or entity.
Under the manager details section, you are required to fill-out the following information:
Username: The email address of the manager needs to be entered in this textbox. The email address acts as a username.
First and Last Name: Enter the first and last name of
the manager in relevant textboxes.
Password: Specify the password for the account. The
manager can always change his password later after logging into
his Dashboard from the Profile screen. The password must be a
minimum of 8 characters long and must include letters and numbers. The password
is case sensitive. Special characters cannot be entered.
Phone Number: The phone number of the manager
needs to be entered in this textbox.
Survey Details:
The section deals with survey related information for capturing reviews for the specific store.
Under the survey details section, you are required to fill-out the following information:
Choose Questionnaire Template: All the survey templates that you have defined will be listed here. Choose the one that is to be associated with the location. In case you haven’t setup any survey template, you could use the default template that is provided with your account.
Feedback URL: A unique feedback URL for the brand will be generated and displayed. This will be used to gather feedback from customers.
Message shown on Thank You screen: This is a text-area that can be used to specify the message that you intend to display to your customer once they complete the survey.
After entering the relevant details in all the sections, click the “Save
Changes” button to add the location. Once the details are saved, the popup will
close and you will be taken back to the locations/entities/sites/store screen,
with the newly added location listed here.<o:p></o:p>
Managing Locations
The Locations/Entities/Events screen lists all locations alphabetically based on their names. To find a specific location, you can:
- Scroll through the list OR
- Use the search box to find a
location. Type a name in the box, to have the list filtered to show those
locations that have names beginning with the letters entered. Click on the x in
the search box to reset the filter.
Once you
have found a business location you can:
- View the Brand Page for the location: Click on the location name or the
icon next to it. The brand page will open in a new window.
- View the Survey Page for the
location: Click on
the icon available against the Public Feedback Link box. The survey page will
open in a new window. You can also copy the survey page URL by clicking on the
copy icon next to the Public Feedback Link box.
- Download QR code for the
location survey page:
Click on the Download QR link. From the popup that appears choose your preferred QR code style (regular square QR Code, one enclosed within the Tellofy Speech Bubble- with or without the brand name printed on it) and click on the corresponding download link. An image of the desired QR code will be generated
and downloaded for you. The QR will lead people to the survey page that is
associated with this location.
- View Average Rating of the location:
You can view the
overall rating that has been given by respondents.
- Edit Details of the Location
- Delete the location
Edit Location
To edit a location, click on the edit link available within the location box. A popup containing the details of the selected location will be shown. Make the desired changes and click on the “Save Changes” button. Do note, that certain details such as the location name cannot be edited. The fields that cannot be edited will be greyed out.
Delete Location
To delete a location, click on the delete link, you will be prompted to confirm the action. Once confirmed the location will be deleted and the listing will be refreshed to reflect the changes. Do note, that your main business location cannot be deleted. Other locations cannot be deleted in case they have survey responses available for them.
