The Tellofy AI extension is available for download in the Adobe marketplace. Download the extension and follow the instructions to install the extension.
Post installing the Tellofy AI extension, navigate to the Tellofy AI -> Account Setup menu.
You will be directed to the Account Setup screen (as shown in the screenshot below) wherein you can sign-in to your Tellofy AI account to link it with the store.
In case you do not have a Tellofy AI account, use the Sign up link to create one.
Forgotten your password: In case you have a Tellofy AI account but you don’t remember the password, click on the Forgot Password link. You will be directed to the Forgot Password screen on the Tellofy AI website wherein you can follow the instructions to reset your password. Post resetting your password, you login (from the Account Setup screen) using your new password.
Signing-up for a new Tellofy AI account: To create a Tellofy AI account, click on the Sign up link. You will be directed to the registration form on the Tellofy AI website. Fill- out and submit the form to create the account. Before you can start using your account, it needs to be activated. To do so, click on the “Activate Now” button in the account activation email that you would have received from Tellofy AI. You will be prompted to set your password. Once set, your account would be considered as active.
You would now need to login to the Tellofy AI admin console and generate an API key that is required for you to be able to use the extension. To do so, login to the Tellofy AI admin console (http://app.tellofy.ai)/ and click on your profile icon (available on the top right corner of the screen). From the menu that appears, click on the Account link. From the screen that appears, click on the Magento API Key link. You will be directed to a screen, as shown below:
Click on the Generate New API Key button to have the API key be generated and displayed in the field. Now enter your domain in the Allowed Domain field and click on the Save Changes button.
You can now login and setup the Tellofy AI extension.
Sign in: To connect the Tellofy AI account to your store, enter your Tellofy credentials (email address and password) and click on the Sign in button. Post a successful verification, your Tellofy AI account will be linked to you store and you will be taken to the next step in the sign in process.
Herein, you will be prompted to select the store views for which instances have to be created in Tellofy. Instances, in Tellofy, are individual entities each mapping to a different store view. Each instance has its own chatbot and knowledgebase.

Current Subscription Plan: Details of your current Tellofy AI subscription plan will be displayed at the top of the screen. The plan will determine the number of instances that you can create. To create additional instances (over and above of what your plan allows) you would need to subscribe to a plan that allows so. Clicking on the Upgrade you plan link will take you to the subscription plans screen on the Tellofy AI admin console. (Note: you would need to login to the Tellofy AI admin console to view the plans).
Store selection: All store views available will be listed, you can select the relevant store(s) for which instances have to be created in Tellofy. Do note that in case you are reconnecting a previously connected account, then the store instances that were previously created will be shown as selected. You can un-check previously created stores to delete it.
The number of stores that you can select would be based on your subscription plan.
Import Data: Once you have selected the store(s) you will be prompted to choose the data (products, categories and/or cms pages) that is to be imported into Tellofy AI. This data goes towards the chatbot knowledgebase(s). Check the relevant options, to import. Do note, that the data is not immediately imported, it is only added to the sync queue. At the scheduled date/time the data will be imported. You can use the Data Sync-> Products, Categories or Pages screen to manually manage (i.e. include/exclude) products from being synced.
Click on the Create Instance button.
The instances would get created in TAI and if you have opted to import data then the relevant records will be queued for syncing.
Post completion of the sign-up process, you will be logged into the extension; you will remain logged in till such time that you manually disconnect your account.
Once you are logged in, the Account Setup screen would change (as shown in the screenshot below) to show the details of the Tellofy AI account that is currently linked with the store.
In case you are on a trial plan, then a notification pertaining to the number of days remaining in your trial will be displayed at the top of the screen. Upon trial expiry, if you have not subscribed to another plan, then you would lose access to the extension. The chatbot would also be removed from your store.
You can, at any time, disconnect your Tellofy AI account from your store. To do so, click on the Disconnect Account button available on the Account Setup screen. Once you confirm the action, the Tellofy AI account will be disconnected and all data (catalogue and CMS) syncing to Tellofy will be stopped. The chatbots will no longer be available on your store websites. To re-connect the account, you would need to sign-in to Tellofy AI and complete the sign-in steps all over again.
